C-104 on Crescent Road is where we spend our days. It's a quiet enough street in Thiruvenkata Nagar, but Ambattur itself is always moving. We started Couner Measures Technologies P Ltd because we knew our way around tech and security stuff. It’s not a massive operation, just a few of us in a regular office space. We have some computers, a few spare parts lying on the shelves, and a coffee machine that barely works. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of equipment coming in. We don't really have a grand vision, we just try to solve the technical problems that people bring to us. If something breaks, we look at it. If someone needs a system set up, we go and do it. We spend a lot of time driving around the industrial areas near here. Ambattur is full of small shops like ours, so we fit right in. We’re not the type to wear suits; usually, it’s just jeans and a t-shirt because we’re often crawling under desks or messing with cables. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and the paperwork piles up on the desk near the window, but we know where everything is. We just keep doing what we’re doing and hope the traffic on Crescent Road isn't too bad in the evening. There is always a lot of work to do and not enough hours to do it.
