Coromandel Engineering Company Limited is located on the 4th Floor of Parry House at 43 Moore Street. This is an old part of the city, and the building has that classic feel to it. Working on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a view of the surrounding streets, which are always packed with people and vehicles. You can smell the old wood and paper when you walk in. We spend our days coordinating projects and looking over technical specifications. The atmosphere is generally quiet, broken only by the sound of phones ringing or the low murmur of people discussing blueprints. We take our lunch breaks together sometimes, talking about things other than work to clear our heads. It’s a steady kind of environment. People have been working here for a long time, and there’s a sense of routine that everyone is comfortable with. It’s just where we come to do our bit every day.
