Corner Stone

Corner Stone is up on the 6th floor of Beta Block, number 789, right on Rajiv Gandhi Salai in Navalur. It’s a bit different being in an office building rather than a dusty yard, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent on the phone or working through logistics for stone projects. Navalur is a fast-growing area, and being on Rajiv Gandhi Salai puts us right in the middle of all the new buildings going up. You can see a lot from the 6th floor, mostly construction cranes and traffic. We don't have a showroom full of giant slabs here, but we have samples and plenty of paperwork to handle. It's a bit more of a quiet environment than a typical stone shop. We handle the planning side of things. Sometimes people get confused finding the right floor in Beta Block, but once they are here, we just sit down and talk about what they need. We aren't into high-pressure sales or anything like that. It’s just us trying to coordinate things between the suppliers and the job sites. The elevators can be slow during lunch hour, but we’re usually here all day anyway. We've been part of this Navalur community for a while now and we've seen it change so much. It's interesting work, even if it's mostly spent in the office.
