Civil Engineering

We are based over at Periyar Street in East Tambaram. Our Civil Engineering address is a little confusing because it used to be old number 75 but now it is new number 40. People often get mixed up when they are trying to find the place for the first time. We are located in the Sanatorium area of Chennai which is a busy part of the city. Being near the station means there is always a lot of activity around us. The office itself is quite small and tucked away. We have been here for a good number of years now. Chennai heat can be tough so we usually have the fans going full blast while we look at our engineering plans. It is just a regular workspace with stacks of papers and site maps everywhere. We spend a lot of our time traveling between here and various construction sites across Chennai-47. It is a lot of driving through traffic but that is just how it is. Sometimes the rain makes things slow down but we keep at it. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of staff. It is just a few of us handling the daily tasks and making sure the measurements are right. The neighborhood knows us as the local civil engineering guys. We don't have a receptionist so if the phone rings one of us just picks it up.
