You can find us at No. A-9 / 16 in the Industrial Estate at J. J. Nagar East, over in Mugappair. Being in an industrial estate means it is always a bit noisy and dusty around here. There are trucks coming and going constantly. At Chitram Engineering Pvt Ltd, we’ve gotten used to the sound of metal and machinery. We have a decent-sized workshop where we handle various engineering tasks. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the real work happens. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or office furniture. Most of our budget goes into the equipment we use every day. Our team is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and some younger ones learning the ropes. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just look at the drawings, talk about how to build what’s needed, and then we get started. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly on the first try, so we have to go back and tweak it until it’s right. That is just how engineering is. It takes patience. We usually have lunch together in the small break area. It’s a pretty tight-knit group. People know they can find us here from early morning until late evening most days. Mugappair is a good spot for us because we are close to our suppliers. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
