Chevro Fabrication Works

We are located at No. 1 Koladi Road in Mel Ayanambakkam, right near the Koladi Royal Club. It is a decent area, though the road can get a bit messy when it rains. Our workshop is where we spend almost all our time, surrounded by iron rods and welding tanks. We have been doing this for a long time now. The building is simple, just four walls and a roof that keeps the sun off us while we work. We make things like window grills and door frames, mostly. You will see a lot of sparks flying if you walk past during the day. It is hard on the eyes if you are not wearing a mask. We have a small bench out front where we sit to have our tea in the morning before the real work starts. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. Sometimes people stop by just to ask if we can weld a broken chair or fix a bicycle frame. We try to help out when we can. The workspace is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and scraps of metal everywhere, but we have our own way of organizing things. It is not a corporate office; it is a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. By the time evening rolls around, we are usually tired and ready to lock up the gate and head home. The Royal Club nearby is always busy, but we just stay focused on our iron.
