Chennai Paper Cups

Our shop, Chennai Paper Cups, is located at No.1 on Avvaiyar Street. If you know the Ekkattuthangal area, we are pretty easy to find. We spend our days making paper cups for all kinds of local businesses. It is a simple enough job but it keeps us very busy from morning until night. The machines make a lot of noise, so it is hard to hear the phone sometimes. We started this because we saw so many tea stalls needing cups every single day. We are not a huge factory with fancy uniforms. It is just a few of us here making sure the rolls are loaded and the sizes are coming out right. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we just keep going. We don’t really do any big advertising. Most of our customers are just people from the neighborhood or nearby districts who have been buying from us for years. We try to keep our prices fair because we know how hard it is to run a small business. The street outside is usually crowded with bikes and delivery vans. It is a bit chaotic but we like the energy of the place. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the quality is okay for a daily cup.
