You can find Casagrand Contracts Private Limited over at NPL Devi on LB Road. The address says New No. 111, but some of the older folks around here still call it Old No. 59. It is right there in the Chennai City Corporation area, though technically the paperwork says it falls under Kanchipuram district. We spend our days managing various contract works and it is mostly about keeping track of people, equipment, and timelines. It gets pretty hectic during the middle of the week. There is always someone coming in to drop off a report or ask about a site update. We have a desk covered in papers and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use by everyone. Working in the LB Road area means we are right in the middle of all the action in the city. The traffic outside is usually humming along while we sit inside and try to make sense of the latest project requirements. It is not a glamorous job, mostly just grit and making sure the supplies arrive where they are supposed to be. We handle a lot of the background work that people do not really see when a new building goes up. If something goes wrong on a site, we are the ones who have to figure out a fix. We have been at this for a while and we just take it one day at a time. It is hard work, but someone has to stay on top of the details.
