Blue Mount Metal Finishers

We spend most of our time here at No 2A on M.G.R. Salai in Nagalkeni. It is a busy part of Chromepet and things get pretty loud during the day with all the metal work going on. Blue Mount Metal Finishers is basically just a group of us who know how to handle these machines and get the coatings right. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings, but that is how it goes when you are working with metal every day. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing exactly what is happening with every piece that comes through the door. It is not a fancy setup by any means. There are plenty of bigger places around, but people come to us because they know we will just get it done without a lot of talking. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us well. Usually, someone is outside moving crates or checking a delivery truck. It is a lot of physical work and my hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We just keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the pile of work that never seems to get any smaller.
