We’re located at No. 13 on Venkatamaistry Street in Mannady. If you know the area, you know it’s a tight street with a lot of history and a lot of movement. Bharat Hardware Corporation has been around for quite some time. We’ve got shelves stacked high with all sorts of bits and pieces—bolts, tools, and things people need for their houses or shops. It's not a supermarket; it’s a hardware store where things are a bit crowded. You have to watch your step sometimes so you don't trip over a box of nails. We know where most things are, though every now and then we have to hunt for a specific size of something. The street outside is usually full of people and carts. It can get pretty loud, especially in the mornings when everyone is opening up. We don't use any fancy computer systems for every little thing; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way. Mannady is a place where people work hard, and we fit right in. If you need something specific, you can just ask. We don't do big sales pitches. We just find the tool you're looking for and give it to you. That’s the way it’s been for years. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a large shipment in, but we make it work by stacking things higher. It's just how we do things.
