Bentool Steel Products Pvt. Ltd. is located at 33, Menambedu Road in Ambattur. This is the industrial heart of the area, so it’s always buzzing with activity. The road outside is usually full of lorries and workers on cycles. Our factory floor is where most of the action happens, with the sound of presses and cutters going throughout the shift. It can get pretty loud, so we’ve all learned to speak up. The office part is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs and a fan that’s seen better days. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building has some character, or at least that’s what we call the cracks in the floor. We don't do much in the way of marketing or fancy presentations. People in the industry know us because we’ve been at this spot for decades. The commute can be a bit of a drag with the traffic on Menambedu Road, but once we’re here, we just get into the flow of things. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news or whatever is happening in our families. It’s a straightforward environment. We make steel products, we make sure they’re done right, and we ship them out. It’s not a complicated philosophy, just what we do every day from early morning until the sun goes down and we lock up the gate.
