Bahwan Engineering Company

Down here in Valasaravakkam, we have our spot on Velmurugan Street. It is 205A, over in Krishnamachari Nagar. The Chennai heat is usually pretty intense, so we keep the fans going all day while we work. Bahwan Engineering Company has been in this neighborhood for a bit. It is a busy street, lots of bikes and people walking by. We do our engineering work in the back and keep the front for meetings and paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the guys here live nearby so we know the local shops pretty well. We grab lunch from the place around the corner. We are not a big flashy firm with glass walls or anything. It is just a practical workspace with tools and drawings everywhere. We spend a lot of time making sure the measurements are right. If you come by, you might see us drinking tea or arguing over a technical detail. It is a real working environment, not some corporate showroom. We like the grit of it. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, but we stay dry inside. We have got a lot of history on this street. It is just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble. It is a solid place to work for us.
