B L Transport Pvt Ltd

Our office for B L Transport Pvt Ltd is situated at the corner of Moore Street, right near the Indian Bank. The address says Old No 96 and New No 46, which can be a bit confusing for people who haven't been here before. We are right in the middle of Flower Bazaar, so you can imagine how busy it gets. The smell of the market is always in the air, and there is a constant stream of people and vehicles moving past our doors. We handle transport, so our life is basically lived on the road and in this office. We coordinate trucks and drivers all day long. The phones never seem to stop ringing, mostly people asking where their goods are or drivers stuck in traffic near the harbor. Our office is functional, with heavy wooden desks and metal cupboards for all our records. We don't have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the windows open. It’s a dusty, noisy place, but it’s where we work. We focus on getting the loads moved from the market or the port to wherever they need to go. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes a lot of shouting to be heard over the street noise. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a transport company trying to get through the daily grind in one of the busiest parts of Chennai.
