B & W Structural Design Consultant is located on Gandhi Road in Velacheri. If you know the area, you know how busy the traffic can get near the Central Bank of India. Our place is number 181/64, and it’s a pretty straightforward office. We don't have any flashy signs or lounge areas for guests. There’s just a lot of structural talk and technical stuff going on inside. The walls are mostly covered with old project photos and some charts we use. Being in Chennai, the weather is usually hot, so the fans are always running. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons looking at blueprints. It’s a lot of math and double-checking numbers, which keeps us busy. We take our tea breaks at the small shop down the street. It’s a regular routine we’ve had for years. The Central Bank of India is the main landmark people use to find us, which is helpful because Gandhi Road has so many different buildings. We’ve stayed in Velacheri because it’s central for a lot of our clients. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The office is often a bit messy with paper and folders, but we know where everything is. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a group of people who understand how buildings are put together and enjoy working in this part of the city. We keep the lights on late most nights.
