Our place is at New No.111, which used to be Old No.141, on Kuppam Salai in Kottivakkam. Autumn Leaves Homes Llp is the name on the board outside. We are pretty close to the coast here, so you can sometimes feel the salt in the air, especially when the wind is blowing the right way. The office is a converted space that we have been using for quite some time now. It isn't very big, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. We deal with residential projects, so there is always a lot of talk about floor plans and permits. It can be a bit of a headache dealing with the local regulations, but it is just part of the routine. We usually have some tea around eleven and talk about what needs to be finished before the weekend. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be filing papers, and the next you are out at a site checking on the foundation. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. If something needs doing, someone just picks it up and does it. We don't really go for all those marketing buzzwords or polished speeches. We just focus on the actual building work and making sure the walls are straight. It's a straightforward business, and we try to keep it that way for everyone involved.
