Astrotech Steels Pvt Ltd is based in Nungambakkam. We are on the Ghattala Towers2Nd Floor, No. 19 Avenue Road. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of activity outside our windows. We deal with steel supplies and all the logistics that go with it. Our office is where we handle the coordination between the yards and the clients. The desks stay covered with spreadsheets and delivery notes most of the time. We spend a lot of our day on the phone with builders and site managers. Steel is a heavy business, but we mostly handle the paperwork and the planning from here. It gets a bit hectic when a large shipment is due to arrive. We have a small team here, and everyone knows their job. The office is simple and doesn't have any of those modern decorations. We usually take a tea break in the late afternoon, which is a nice break from the phones. Avenue Road is a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us at Ghattala Towers2Nd Floor. We don’t do any marketing. We just rely on people knowing we have the steel they need. Sometimes the computers give us trouble, but we manage. It is just a normal day for us, making sure the steel gets to the right sites on time. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up.
