Astriya Agrolife is based out of No. 1, Nachiyappan Street in Nungambakkam. If you know Chennai, you know this area is usually pretty busy with people rushing around. Our office is tucked in there, and it’s where we handle all the agrolife business. It might seem strange to have an agricultural company in the middle of a city like this, but we manage just fine. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at our computers trying to coordinate things. It’s not all sunshine and fields for us; there’s a lot of logistics involved. We aren't a big, polished group. Most of the time, the office is full of half-drunk tea cups and stacks of files that need sorting. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of the neighborhood. We don't use a lot of marketing talk because we don't really see the point. The work speaks for itself, even if it’s just us doing the paperwork. People come and go, and we just keep the wheels turning. It’s a practical setup for what we need to do. We’re just regular people trying to run a business in the city while keeping our roots in the ground, so to speak. It’s a lot of work, but we like it well enough and it keeps us busy every single day. We don't need fancy things to get the job done right.
