Assitant Of Chartered Accountant

We are located over at number 28 on China Mathur Salai in the Manali area of Chennai. It is a bit of an industrial part of town, so things can get quite dusty and loud outside with the trucks passing by. Our office is a simple room where we help out with all the accounting tasks that need doing. As assistants, we handle a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to sorting through receipts and entering data into the systems. It is not a very big space, but it is ours. There is usually a radio playing softly in the corner to break the silence while we work. We are not some big corporate firm with hundreds of employees. It is a small operation where everyone knows what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late when the accounts do not balance the first time, but that is just part of the job. Manali is a working-class neighborhood, and we fit right in. We do not have fancy uniforms or a polished image. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and get to work on whatever files are waiting for us. The desk is often covered in loose papers and pens, but we know where everything is. It is a practical way to spend the day, and we try to do it right. We just do the work and then go home.
