Asiatech Engineering Associates is over at 111A Court Road. Santhome Nagar is a busy area, especially with the courts being so close by. You can always hear the lawyers and people rushing around outside our door. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that chaos, even if it is a bit cramped with all the blueprints and files we have lying around. We do engineering consulting and design, which means we spend a lot of time staring at screens and arguing over measurements. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We aren't the kind of place that has a big corporate logo on a skyscraper. We just have our name on the door and a few desks inside. The walk down Court Road in the morning is always an experience with the street vendors and the traffic. We usually grab lunch from one of the local stalls and bring it back to the office. It’s a practical way to work. We’ve been in Santhome Nagar for several years now and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People just find us through word of mouth or by walking past 111A. We just focus on the engineering problems and try to find sensible solutions for the people we work with. It is hard work but we get by.
