Arun Brothers Steel Mart

Arun Brothers Steel Mart is over on Iron Mongolla Street in Kondithope. We’re at number 6. The street name tells you exactly what kind of area this is. It’s full of shops dealing in hardware and metal, and we’ve been part of that for a long time. Our shop is pretty packed with steel pieces of all shapes and sizes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is kept. If someone walks in looking for something specific, we usually can find it pretty fast. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays. It's just stacks of material and a few workers moving things around. The neighborhood is tight, so parking can be a real pain for customers sometimes. We try to help them load up as quickly as possible so they can get on their way. It’s a loud place to work, with all the cutting and the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or locals who need a bit of steel for a repair. We keep it simple and focus on the inventory we have on hand. It’s been our way for years and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved. Kondithope is a busy area and we've fit right in.
