Annam Steels Pvt. Ltd. is located at No.2/3 on T H Road, right in the 2nd Lane of Old Washermanpet. This part of the city has a lot of history and the streets are quite narrow and winding. We have our office and storage here, which can be a bit of a challenge when we have big loads coming in. The lane is usually crowded with people and small carts, so everything moves a bit slower around here. We’ve been operating in Old Washermanpet for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even though we have the private limited name. Most of the people working here grew up in this neighborhood. We deal with steel supplies day in and day out. Our walls are lined with old shelves and the floor is usually covered with bits of metal and packing materials. It’s a very hands-on job. We don't have a big marketing department or any glossy brochures to hand out. If you walk into our lane, you’ll see us busy with the inventory or talking to customers on the phone. It gets quite loud when the trucks are being loaded, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure we have what people are looking for when they stop by.
