Annai Buildtech Promoters Llp is located at No. 24, which we call Annai Illam Mangayarkarasi. It’s on 46th Street in Nanganallur, Chennai. Nanganallur is a bit of a maze with all its numbered streets, but it’s a nice, settled neighborhood. Our office is basically part of the building here, so it has a very home-like feel to it. You won't find any slick corporate furniture or glass walls. Instead, it’s just a regular room with wooden tables, some chairs, and stacks of files about different building projects. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks about their land or new constructions they’re planning. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional vegetable vendor or some kids playing. Being based in a residential area like this makes it easier to understand what people want when they’re looking for a home. We keep things very informal. If someone wants to talk about a project, we just pull up a chair and get out the maps. There’s always a bit of dust on the site equipment we keep in the corner. We do our own bookkeeping and manage the workers from here. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough keeping up with the growth in this part of Chennai. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place where we just focus on the job at hand every day. There is usually some hot coffee available for anyone who drops by for a chat.
