Angel Metal Craft

Our workshop, Angel Metal Craft, is found at Plot No: 2/107 on Bosse Street in Southkattur. It’s basically just a large open room filled with various pieces of metal, welding tanks, and heavy-duty tools. The air always smells a bit like ozone and burnt iron because we are constantly cutting or joining things together. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby for people to sit in. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing our heavy aprons and working on a frame or a gate. The floor is made of rough concrete and is littered with scrap pieces that we eventually sort through. It gets very loud in here when the grinders are running, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise. We take on all sorts of small and medium metal projects for people in the area. Some days the work is straightforward, and other days we have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to make a certain piece fit together. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us putting in the hours and making sure the welds are solid. The roof is corrugated metal, so it gets quite loud when it rains, making it hard to talk at all. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
