Anand Enterprises/Architect Engineers is based over in Kolathur. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 9A Lakshmanan Nagar East, right on Papaer Mill Road in Gopal Colony. We are also near the Donbosco area and the West Main Road in Agram. It’s a busy corner of the world, but we like it here. We do a mix of architecture and engineering work, which keeps things interesting for us. Some days it’s more about the structural side, and other days we are focusing on how a building looks from the outside. Our office in Kolathur is where all the planning happens. It’s not a polished corporate space, just a working office with plenty of pens, calculators, and stacks of blueprints. We’ve been in this part of Lakshmanan Nagar East for a good bit now and know the area like the back of our hand. People from the neighborhood often stop in to ask about building something or fixing an old structure that has seen better days. We don’t use any fancy talk; we just tell people what can be done and how much work it might involve. Being near Papaer Mill Road means there is always life moving outside our doors. It’s a real, working neighborhood and that suits our style just fine. We just put our heads down and get to the work at hand every morning. It's a bit dusty with all the papers, but it's where we work best.
