Ambeshwar Metals

Ambeshwar Metals is located right in the heart of George Town, specifically at 13/7 on the first floor of Singanna Naicken Street. If you know Parrys, you know how crowded it gets. The streets are narrow and there are people everywhere. We have been working out of this small space for a good while. It’s not the easiest place to move heavy metal around, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the stairs or talking to customers who squeeze into the office. Being on the first floor means we have to be careful with how we handle the inventory. George Town is a busy place with a lot of history and it feels like everyone is always in a hurry. We just focus on our metal trading. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our customers find us because they are already in the area for other supplies. It gets very hot in the summer and the building doesn't have much breeze. We just keep the fans going and get through the day's tasks. It’s a simple operation, really. We keep track of everything in our ledgers and try to stay on top of the prices. Some days the street outside is so blocked with carts that we can't even get out for lunch. That's just how life is here in Parrys.
