Our place is in T. Nagar, specifically inside the Allu Villa Apartments on Ramakrishna Street. It’s Flat Number 1. Being in T. Nagar means it’s always crowded and parking is a nightmare, but it’s home for Amarakshaya Infra Developers. We’ve been working out of this apartment for a while now. It’s not your typical office building, but it works for what we do. We handle infrastructure and development stuff around Chennai. Most of the time, the living room is our main meeting area where we discuss projects. It’s a bit informal, but we like it that way. We aren't into the big shiny office culture. We prefer being right here in the middle of the city where everything happens. You might see us coming and going with site gear and folders. Dealing with developers and city planning keeps us pretty busy. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the kitchen table, but we eventually sort it out. It’s a small operation here at Ramakrishna Street. We know the other people in the apartment building and they know us. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the unnecessary overhead. We just focus on the projects we have on hand and try to keep things moving. It's a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work and we have been here for years.
