Allied Steel Mart

Allied Steel Mart is based at Plot No. 297 in Burma Colony. We are on the IV Main Road in Perungudi. It is a busy part of the city and there is always a lot of traffic passing by. Our place is mostly a warehouse where we keep different types of steel. We have pipes, sheets, and rods stacked up high. It is a very industrial part of the neighborhood. The sun can be very strong on the metal, making it hot to touch in the afternoons. We have a small team of guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the delivery trucks. The office is just a small cabin in the corner of the plot. We spend most of our time dealing with contractors and local builders who need steel for their sites. Perungudi has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed in this same spot. The IV Main Road can get quite congested, which makes it hard for the bigger lorries to get in and out sometimes. We just try to keep the stock organized so we can find what a customer wants quickly. It is a noisy and dusty business, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We don't have any grand ideas, just a focus on selling the steel we have in the yard. Sometimes we drink our tea outside when there is a bit of a breeze.
