Our place is at No. 8 in the Iyswaria Apartments. It’s located at 29/9 Surfudeen Street in Choolaimedu. If you’ve been to Choolaimedu, you know the streets can be quite narrow and busy. We’ve been running our contracting business from here for some time. It’s not a huge office, just a room where we keep our files and take calls. We do all sorts of contracting work. It’s mostly about organizing labor and materials for different projects across Chennai. We don't have a big glossy sign outside. It’s just a regular apartment building. We spend most of our time traveling between different sites. Dealing with vendors and workers takes up most of the day. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on progress. We aren't a corporate giant. We’re just a small group of people trying to make a living in the construction trade. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or because materials don't show up on time. That’s just the reality of the job. We don't sugarcoat things for our clients. We just tell them how it is. We’ve been in the neighborhood long enough that most people know who we are. We keep things straightforward. No fancy presentations, just honest work and getting the job done. If we’re not in the office, we’re probably out on a site somewhere in the city. That is basically it.
