AKM SAPPHIRE BUILDERS AND PROMOTERS is based in Gopalapuram, Chennai. Our office is at New No.22/1, which used to be Old No.27/1 on Thiruveethian Street. It can be a little confusing for people trying to find us the first time because of the double numbering. This neighborhood is quite old and has a lot of character, which we really like. We are a small team of builders and promoters. We don't have a polished corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, it's just one of us sitting at a desk covered in site plans and bills. We spend most of our time out and about, checking on progress at different spots in the city. Chennai weather can be a real headache for construction. When the monsoon hits, everything slows down and we have to scramble to keep things dry. Then when it's summer, it's almost too hot to work outside. We just manage as best as we can. We don't use fancy talk or make big promises we can't keep. We just try to finish our projects so people can move in. It’s a lot of coordination with different workers and making sure we don't run out of materials. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always fix them. We aren't trying to be the biggest builders in Tamil Nadu, just reliable ones. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just locals doing our job.
