Air India(Contract)

We’ve been here at 3/36A on Pattravakkam Road for a while now. This part of Ambattur is usually busy, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Being a contract setup for Air India means we stay pretty occupied with the day-to-day stuff that comes our way. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical space where we get things done. Most of us live nearby in Varadharajapuram, so the commute isn’t too bad except when the rains hit. We handle various tasks that keep the bigger operations moving behind the scenes. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the details are right. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s honest work. The building is easy to find if you know the area well. We don’t have a big lobby or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and people trying to do their jobs well. Every day brings something a bit different depending on what the main office needs from us. We’ve known each other for years, which makes the long shifts easier to handle. It’s just how things go here in Chennai. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. Nothing more, nothing less. We just show up and keep things moving along as they come.
