Agash Tour & Travels P Ltd is based out of B5 Jayakavitha Apartments. We are at No 3, Rukmaniammal Street in Virugambakkam. This is in the West K.K. Nagar part of Chennai, specifically the 78 area. We’ve been running our travel operations from this apartment for a while now. It’s not a big glass office building, just a regular residential spot where we have set up our desks and phones. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking on bus schedules or flight timings for people. The street outside can get a bit narrow with cars parked everywhere but it’s a nice enough neighborhood. We have a small group of people working here to handle the bookings. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when everyone is calling at once during the holiday seasons. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything, we just rely on people knowing us in the area. We handle trips and local car rentals mostly. The apartment is easy to find if you know the Rukmaniammal Street landmark. We keep our files in stacks and try to stay on top of the paperwork. It is a practical way to run a business without too much overhead. We just focus on getting people where they need to go. It’s a simple setup and it has worked for us for years now. We like being in this part of Chennai because it feels more like a community and less like a cold corporate district.
