It is usually pretty warm here on the first floor at 71 Moore Street. We spend most of our time looking at small pieces and making sure the production line stays on track. We have been at this address for a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep. Most of the staff knows the neighborhood well by now. We go out for tea nearby when there is a break. It is just a regular workplace where people show up and do their jobs. There is nothing too fancy about the office setup. We just focus on the jewelry and getting orders out on time. The phone rings a fair bit, usually about materials or shipping. It gets the job done and we stay busy from morning until evening here in Chennai.
