This is Agni Heavy Engineering Industries Ltd. We are based at 1, Dr Subbarayan Nagar in Kodambakkam. It’s a busy part of the city. Engineering work is what we do, and it’s usually quite heavy-duty stuff. Our place isn't meant to be pretty. It’s built for work. We have different sections for different tasks. You can hear the sounds of metal and tools most of the day. Kodambakkam has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, but we are used to it by now. People come to us with all sorts of requirements for heavy parts or structural work. We just look at the drawings and see how we can get it done. It's a lot of physical work combined with some technical planning. We’ve been at this Dr Subbarayan Nagar address for quite some time. The neighborhood knows us. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear clothes that can get dirty because they probably will. We just focus on the machines and the metal. Every day is a bit different depending on what order we are working on. Some things are big and take weeks, others are smaller and faster. We just keep the wheels turning and try to finish things on time. It’s honest work and we like it that way. No one here is trying to be fancy. We just build things.
