AGAM REALTY VENTURES LLP

Our office is in Alwarpet on Kasturirangan Road. It’s a nice part of Chennai, quite green compared to other places. We’ve got our setup at number 41. It’s an old-style area but we like it here. Being in realty means we are always thinking about buildings and who is moving where. But inside the office, it’s just us doing the daily grind. We have a few computers and a lot of paper. Alwarpet has its own vibe, very traditional but also modern. We see people walking their dogs or going to the cafes nearby. We aren't really the cafe-going types, though. We usually just bring our own lunch or get something from the local mess. The street can get a bit crowded with cars parked everywhere, but that’s just how Alwarpet is. We spend a lot of time on the phone, as you can imagine. Realty ventures involve a lot of coordinating between different people. Sometimes things go fast, other times we are just waiting for something to happen. It's not always exciting, but it’s steady work. We know the streets around here like the back of our hand. Kasturirangan Road is a good spot for us because it’s central. We’ve been working out of this space for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us. We keep the doors open when it's cool enough, and just chat with whoever stops by for business. It's a plain office with no big signs or bright lights.
