Abhar Engineering is located in Welcom Colony, Anna Nagar (W) Extn. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main city center, which we actually prefer. Our building at 14/12 is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, as it blends in with the other structures around here. We’ve got a small team, and we all know each other’s families and habits by now. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. It’s usually covered in a bit of metal shavings and oil, which is just part of the job. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us bent over a machine or checking some measurements on a clipboard. We spend a lot of time talking about technical specs and how to get a piece of metal to do exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s not the kind of work that makes for good photos, but it’s what we know how to do. The weather in Chennai can get really hot, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We take breaks when we can and try to stay out of the direct sun during the afternoon. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing much. We just handle the orders as they come and try to keep our machines in good shape. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us going every month.
