A T Steel

We are based at 1/25, right by the Hotel Padmam on Perumal Tank West Street. It is close to Town Hall Road, so there is always a lot of activity around the corner. The shop is in a busy part of the city where the streets are filled with all kinds of businesses. We deal with steel, so the space is mostly taken up by heavy racks and piles of metal. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is a working shop and things get moved around constantly. The noise from Town Hall Road usually filters in, mixing with the sounds of our own work. We have been at this Perumal Tank West Street location for many years. Most of the people who work here have been with us since the start. We do not have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, check what needs to be cut or moved, and get to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, and we take a break for a minute. The building is old but sturdy enough for what we need. We focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it without any delays. It is a practical life we lead here. No one is wearing a suit or sitting in a cooled office. We are just on the floor, handling the inventory and making sure the counts are right at the end of the day. It is honest work.
