A M Industries

A M Industries is located at 46, Kundrathur Main Road in Mangadu. The road outside is always busy with buses and cars going back and forth. We have a small industrial unit here where we do various types of manual work. It is a loud place because of the machines and the metal hitting metal. The ceiling is made of tin sheets, so it gets very hot in the afternoons. We have a few big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. There are usually oily rags lying around and tools spread out on the workbenches. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back with grease on our hands. We have been at this Mangadu location for several years. Most of our work comes from local businesses who need things made or fixed. We don't do a lot of advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. The number 46 is painted on the gate, but it’s a bit faded now. We start work early to beat the worst of the heat and usually close up once it gets dark. It is honest, tiring work, but it keeps us busy. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a small shop trying to do our job well.
