Ramkastury Resorts Private Limited is out in Paramankeni Village, which is part of Cheyyur Taluk in Chengalpattu. You can find us at SF No. 496/6. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but that’s kind of the point. We wanted to have a business that was away from all the noise of the main cities. We aren't a big polished resort group with millions of dollars in advertising. We are just a local operation. We spend most of our time out on the property, making sure the grounds are kept up and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. Being in a village means things move a bit slower, but there is still plenty of work to do. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We just talk to our guests like normal people. If there’s a problem with a room, we just go and fix it ourselves. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Some days it’s quiet and we just focus on maintenance, and other days it’s a bit chaotic with people arriving. We just take it as it comes. We’ve been part of this village for a while now, and we just try to run a decent place where people can come and sit for a while. We aren't fancy and we don't pretend to be. We just provide a roof and a bed in a quiet spot of Chengalpattu. It’s simple, practical work and we just keep doing it. We know the roads around here and the best places to get supplies when the village is quiet.
