Kg Emerald Beach Hotel

Our hotel is located out on East Coast Road in Devaneri Village. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Chennai, but that’s why people come here. We are very close to the beach, so you can often feel the salt in the air. The humidity can be tough on the building, so we are always painting or fixing something. It’s a small property, and we keep things very simple. We don't have a giant staff or fancy concierge services. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the rooms are clean and the guests have what they need. We get a lot of families who want to see the shore without staying in a crowded area. The village is quiet, which is a nice change of pace. We spend our mornings checking the grounds and making sure the water pumps are working right. It’s practical, everyday work. We aren't trying to compete with the big resorts down the road. We just provide a place to stay for people who are traveling along the ECR. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s an honest way to make a living. If you’re passing through the 603104 area and need a spot to rest, we’re here. We just do our best to keep the place running and welcoming for whoever stops by our little village.
