Fair Mont Hotel

We’ve been here at No.17 on Iind Street for a while now. Guduvancheri is a busy place, but our spot is a bit tucked away in the 603 202 area. People usually find us when they’re traveling through Tamil Nadu or staying nearby for work. It’s a plain building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we just try to keep things tidy and make sure the fans are working right because it gets pretty hot out here most months. My cousin helps me with the front desk usually, and we have a few others who help with the cleaning. We see a lot of people coming from the railway station or just driving through. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with the traffic, but that’s just how it is around here. We don't really have a big staff, just a handful of us who know the neighborhood well. If you walk down the road, you can find a few shops and places to eat. We spend most of our mornings checking the rooms and making sure the water is running okay. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local hotel where we try to be helpful if someone asks for directions or needs a place to rest for a night. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, more buildings going up and more cars on the road, but we’re still here on the same street.
