Psrg Farming Private Limited is tucked away in Chitlapakkam, over in Bagyalakshmi Nagar. Our address is No. 5/2, which is a quiet enough spot compared to the center of Chennai. Even though we are in the Kancheepuram district, it still feels very much like a neighborhood where people know each other. We started this farming company to stay connected to the land while being based near the city. The office is basically just a room where we keep our records and talk to people who are interested in what we do. It’s not a fancy corporate setup at all. You might see some of us coming in with dirt on our boots because we’ve been out looking at fields. We try to keep things grounded. There’s a lot of coordination involved in farming, and this little spot in Bagyalakshmi Nagar is where it all comes together. Sometimes we sit out and talk about the weather or how the soil is looking this year. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking on supplies. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just focus on the task at hand and try to grow things the right way. Living and working around here means we see our neighbors every day, and that keeps us honest. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
