Hake Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Washi, specifically over on Bhoom Road in Saramkondi. Shrikant Gokul Hake is the one who handles a lot of the coordination at his place. We are basically a group of farmers who decided it was time to join up. Farming around here isn't always easy, and being part of a producer company makes it feel like we have a bit more support. We mostly focus on what we can grow in this specific climate. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. We are just neighbors who see each other at the market or in the fields every day. When you come by the address, you’ll see it’s a practical spot for us to meet. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and how to get our produce to where it needs to go. Sometimes the weather is against us, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We started this because we wanted a better way to handle our business as a group. It’s a lot of physical labor and checking the crops constantly. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It's about the land and the people working it. We are just doing our best to keep the farm running and make sure everyone involved gets a fair shake. It takes time to get everything right.
