If you are in Maduranthakam, you might see us on the first floor of No 132, Car Street. We are right opposite the IOB bank, so it’s easy to find. Kiliyaru Pasana Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name for us, but it’s what we put on the door. Being on Car Street means there is always noise outside, especially with the temple traffic and people going to the bank. Our office is just a regular space where we sit and talk about water and farming. We deal with the stuff that matters to the farmers around the Kiliyaru area. It’s not a polished place. We have some old fans that creak a bit, and the floor is a bit worn from people coming in from the fields. We don't do big marketing or anything like that. People know us because they see us every day. We talk about the rain, the river, and how the crops are doing this year. It’s a lot of sitting around the table and trying to solve problems. Sometimes we have tea and just complain about the heat. It’s a real community thing. We are just trying to keep the farming going in this part of the world. It’s hard work and the money isn’t always great, but it’s what we know. If you are passing the bank, look up and you will see our sign.
