Ak Farmvegetables Private Limited

We are located right on the Thiruneermalai Pammal Link Road, at S.F.No.14/2. It’s a busy spot because of the road, which actually helps us with getting the vegetables moved around quickly. Ak Farmvegetables is basically about getting fresh produce from the fields to the people who need them. We spend a lot of our time early in the morning when the vegetables arrive. It’s cold and dark then, but that’s when the best stuff comes in. We have to sort through everything, which is a lot of bending and lifting. It is not a glamorous job, and your boots usually end up wet from the washing area. We aren't a big supermarket chain; we are just a private company working out of a practical space. The office part is just a desk with a laptop and a lot of registers for tracking what comes and goes. We deal with local growers and try to keep things moving so nothing sits around too long and wilts. Sometimes the traffic on the link road makes it hard for our vehicles to get out, but we’ve learned to time it better. It is a lot of long hours and physical labor, but there is something good about seeing the crates full of greens and roots ready to go. We just keep doing our thing day by day. It keeps us out of trouble.
