Algae Farms Private Limited

We are located at No.22, G-1, in the Doctors Colony flats right off Mudichur Road. It is a ground floor spot in West Tambaram which makes it easy to move things in and out. Algae Farms Private Limited is not a massive operation with glass walls or anything. It is just a regular place where we get our work done. Most of the time, we are busy checking on the tanks and making sure the algae is growing like it should. The weather in Chennai gets really hot, so we have to watch the water levels closely. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise. Being in Doctors Colony is handy because it is a bit quieter than the main road, though the traffic on Mudichur Road can be a headache in the mornings. We have a small team here. We handle everything from cleaning the equipment to managing the paperwork ourselves. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of supplies delivered, but we make it work. It is just practical daily stuff. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a reception desk. Usually, you will find someone out back or in the small room we use for testing. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and keeping the farm going from this corner of Chennai. Anyway, it’s a living and we like the independence it gives us.
