Jai Mata Marble & Granite House

Our yard is located right at the entry point of the Chandigarh Zirakpur Road. It is hard to miss because we have big slabs of stone lined up right by the road. Marble and granite are heavy things so we spend a lot of time using the crane to shift pieces around. The ground is always covered in a bit of white dust from the cutting and polishing. It gets very hot in the summer out there but we have a small office with a fan where we sit to do the paperwork. People pull over their cars all the time to take a look at the different colors we have. Every slab is unique so it takes people a long time to choose the right one for their kitchen or floors. We don't have any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people the price and let them walk around the yard to see what they like. Sometimes a piece gets chipped and we have to move it to the back, but that is just part of the business. We have been here for a long time and have seen the road get wider and busier over the years. It is a simple life of moving stone and talking to builders. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a yard full of rocks and a few guys working every day.
