Kajaria Ceramics Ltd.

We are based in Sector-40 D in Chandigarh, specifically at 3254 on the first floor. It’s a bit different being on the first floor because we have to move all the heavy Kajaria Ceramics Ltd tiles up and down. It’s a good workout, if nothing else. Chandigarh is a very organized city, and we try to keep our shop the same way, though it doesn't always stay that way for long. We have tiles lined up along the hallways and tucked into every corner. The natural light comes in through the windows and shows off the colors, which is nice. We don't have a big staff, so we all do a bit of everything. One minute we’re talking to a customer, the next we’re hauling boxes. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just have ceramic tiles and we show them to people who need them. Being in Sector-40 D means we get a mix of people from all over. It’s a quiet enough area, which we like. The shop feels lived-in. There are coffee stains on the desks and the edges of the tile displays are a bit worn. It’s a real place where real work happens. We don't try to hide the mess or the effort it takes to run the place. We’re just here at 3254 doing our daily work.
