Our place is over in Sector 48/A, specifically in Flat Number 62 inside Sangam Enclave. Chandigarh is laid out so neatly, but sometimes finding the right flat in these enclaves takes a minute if you aren't used to it. It’s a lot quieter here compared to our other locations. We don’t have a big storefront with glass windows. Regent Granito India Ltd. uses this more as a home-base for the business in this part of the north. We mostly handle the paperwork and the orders from here. There is a small balcony where we keep some of the smaller samples, and the rest is just files and a couple of computers. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise moving heavy things around. In the winter, the sun hits the enclave just right in the afternoon, which is nice because it gets pretty cold in Chandigarh. We usually have the tea kettle going all day to stay warm. If a customer wants to see the full range, we often have to explain that this is more of an administrative spot, but we still keep enough on hand to show the colors. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and catalogs, but it works for what we do. The security guard at the gate of Sangam Enclave usually knows where we are if anyone gets lost. It's a nice, calm spot for us to work every day.
