Sks Marble Granite & Tile House

Our shop is over in Dhanas Sarangpur, right near the main Marble Market. Being near the market means there’s always a lot of competition and a lot of movement. At Sks Marble Granite & Tile House, we have a mix of everything piled up. We keep tiles in one section and the heavier granite slabs in another. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, especially when a new shipment comes in and we have to find space for it. The ground is almost always dusty from all the stone being cut nearby. We don’t have a big polished entrance; you just walk in past the stacks of material. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out what they need or moving crates around with the jack. Sarangpur is a busy area, and you can hear the sounds of machines and trucks throughout the day. We take our breaks when we can, usually just standing by the door watching the traffic go by. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We are usually covered in some kind of grit by noon. People come to this area because they know it’s where all the stone is, so we just try to stay ready. When the market starts to close up for the evening, we finally get a chance to sweep the floor and lock up. It’s a long day, but it is what we know. We don't mind the hard work.
