Tulsi Marbl

We are set up in the Mohali A C Textile Market, which is quite close to the Botanical Garden. It is an interesting spot because most of the shops around us deal with fabrics and clothes, while we have the heavy stone and marble. Tulsi Marbl has been operating from this location for some time now. The space is filled with different slabs and pieces that we move around throughout the day. It gets a bit dusty because of the nature of the work, so we are always sweeping or wiping things down. The noise from the textile market is constant, with trucks coming in and out to unload goods. Being near the garden is nice because you can sometimes see the trees or take a short walk when things get too quiet in the afternoon. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is more of a warehouse feel where people come to look at the actual material. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the drivers who deliver the heavy loads. The office part is just a small corner with a table and a ledger book. It’s hard work moving these things around, but it is what we do. We usually start early before the heat gets too bad in the market. It is a straightforward business, and we just focus on getting the slabs moved and the orders sorted out for everyone.
